The Walmart app provides several services designed to assist users with shopping, payments, and order management. Despite being created to ease the user experiences, interviews show that customers were often overwhelmed by in-app promotions and advertisements. We also learned that rather than functioning as an online-delivery service as expected, many customers use it to aid their real-life shopping experiences, checking item stocks or finding prices. By creating a user-friendly item search, ommittin unneccessary information, and adding a bar-code scanner; we aim to make an app that enables users to easily shop.
