After a quick two years in the BFA Graphic Design program, I came out stronger than I started. The constant push and pull have helped me sharpen my mindset and design execution. At the start of this program, I noticed that I was stubborn and struggled to adapt when my initial ideas did not go as planned, considering how I had the impression that it was the only possible outcome. Through trial and error, I recognized what did and didn’t work and came out the other end more flexible and open-minded. I learned to let go of the final outcome and instead focus on the present moment and what is right in front of me, knowing that it ultimately shapes the final product and helps me develop a love for the process.
