I have been “creating” from the moment I got my first laptop. The first application I ever used was After Effects CS4, and I was instantly hooked. This step in my life helped me get to where I am today. One program turned into an avalanche of others. At this point in my life, I was just obtaining content and knowledge for what design was, and I had no idea it could be a future. The BFA program helped me take the skills and knowledge and really get an understanding of how to use them. That foundation shifted my mindset from simply making things to designing with clarity and intent. Design to me never feels like I have to create something; it's more like I get to create something.
